I feel like Michael Corleone in # 3 - I'm addicted no matter how hard I try - they pull me back in! What am I talking about?

The never-ending (soon to be as long-running as Coronation Street), drama that is American federal bullshit.

I have never ever been a sympathizer of the Republican party - even when issues were the topic and not the bullshit that is today.

What is beyond all belief is the damage being done out of spite by loser-ex President Bozo - however, what is happening now - him being SUPPORTED by all those rank-and-file Republican cowards is perhaps the most singular low-life embarrassing display I think I've ever seen, and I've seen, read or researched a lot.

It made me say to myself - I wouldn't vote for any Republican candidate for the rest of my life. That I too have become so polarized by the process that I am now too entrenched to have an open mind and be able to - even listen. To think on my own.

(I can just hear Mike Crowe instantly jumping up and down supporting their lies).

However, what makes me really really sad - is how gullible and brainwashed so many ordinary people in that country have become. How unwilling people have become to the concept of fair winners and losers and perhaps find a way to reconcile and pull together. It happened during World War 2 - and you'd think - when the pandemic has taken more American lives than that war did - there would be room for common ground.

Guess not. How pitiful.

WOMM 2 - As I was writing this, I heard on the CBC that the CRA in this country is sending letters to Emergency Benefit households that they want all the benefits paid back to the government BEFORE Christmas - if the individual was ruled to have been eligible for the benefit - but in reality were operating outside the guidelines.

Specifically, if they were told they qualified with a minimum NET annual income of $5000 or more - rather than a GROSS $5000 or more they were ineligible in fact to receive the relief.

What an inhumane thing to do after what we have all been through, and just prior to the holidays that are already screwed.

What wise man said - "No matter what happens in the world on any front, natural, political, or economic - it is always the poor that pay for everyone else."

What a display.
